Background Information

Oral and maxillofacial surgery involves additional years of hospital-based surgical and anaesthesia training after dental school. Dr. Samuel Kim and Dr. James Kim are experienced oral and maxillofacial surgeons who treat a wide range of conditions affecting the mouth, teeth, and face. They provide comprehensive care, including dental implants, wisdom tooth removal, corrective jaw surgery, and advanced bone reconstruction using minimally invasive techniques for patient comfort. They also diagnose and treat facial pain, injuries, and fractures.

Our team is specially trained in IV sedation and outpatient general anaesthesia in a state-of-the-art office setting. Patients are closely monitored before, during, and after surgery.

Surgical Staff

The surgical staff at Bankstown Oral Surgery are experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants who support IV sedation and surgical procedures. A trained registered nurse (RN) is also present to assist during surgery. All staff are knowledgeable administrative professionals, well versed in health and insurance policies, and CPR certified.
